NEW YORK, N.Y. (December 21, 2015) – Grammy Award winning artist CeeLo Green announces upcoming tour to celebrate the release of his new album HEART BLANCHE. The soul, pop siner g/ songwriter will kick off “The Love Train Tour” on Tuesday March 1, 2016, performing at intimate music venues in historic, southern U.S. cities to pay homage to the great music legends that inspired him, such as Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Ike and Tina Turner, and of course, B. B. King. The multi-platinum artist will make 11 stops along the tour starting in Washington, D.C. at the Howard Theatre and ending in Raleigh, N.C. at the Lincoln Theatre, playing new and classic CeeLo Green hits, as well as throwback covers from his musical inspirations that helped shape his own music and sound. More of an experience than a concert, CeeLo will take you back in time through music, wardrobe and the bespoke, southern setting at these hand-picked, landmark venues.

CeeLo Green recently released his latest, solo album HEART BLANCHE on November 6th, 2015, along with a series of innovative companion videos for his new, hit songs including “Robin Williams,”  “Sign Of The Times,” and “Music To My Soul.” The current single “Working Class Heroes” is also featured in the new trailer for Barbershop 3: The Next Cut (cue at 1:26) and currently, his track “What Christmas Means to Me” from CeeLo’s Grammy Award nominated Christmas album CeeLo’s Magic Moment is also featured in the trailer for the new Tina Fey and Amy Poehler holiday comedy “SISTERS.” On December 22nd, CeeLo Green will be the musical guest on Live! With Kelly & Michael as their house band playing Christmas music from his critically acclaimed holiday album during the show’s annual Christmas Special. Additionally, the Atlanta-native will return to his hometown to perform during halftime for The Hawks vs. Knicks game on December 26th. Just recently, CeeLo was honored at the UK’s Mobo Awards with the “Outstanding Achievement Award” and also just finalized a new label joint venture with Sony Music to help the global music company sign top soul / R&B talent.

ABOUT CEELO GREEN:
Singer/songwriter, producer, performer, TV personality, fashion icon, entrepreneur, and so much more, CeeLo Green is among the most creative and unique artists of this or any era. The ATL-native broke onto the music scene as a member of the southern rap group Goodie Mob and later paired up with Danger Mouse to form Gnarls Barkley. Together, they released the 2006 global hit “Crazy”, which reached #1 in various singles charts worldwide.
